w0lfe 0 Posted October 21, 2014 As another way to get a good source of food how about adding objects to build a type of tree stand and add an animal such as deer to hunt. Make them very skiddish so that people just cant run into the forests and shoot one. I think this would be a nice alternative to running into every little house looking for canned tuna or whatever. Karmaterror 982 Posted October 21, 2014 There is deer, boar, chickens and a few I cant remember that you can already hunt. We have the little deer stands around the map to climb up and hunt but treeline is a better bet. I think they are aiming for what you say about making them run away. At he moment the deer does....but its no challenge. Hopefully it will get better in beta. They know they can make it run when ya close, just need to make it run a lot faster and further to give the hunt some challenge :) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

w0lfe 0 Posted October 21, 2014 Yeah i guess the way I worded it it made it sound like they weren't in it at all but i really meant to make them harder to hunt. Anyone can just run and shoot the deer, they arent aware enough in my opinion. Make it a challenge but be very rewarding in doing so. I shot a nice Elk the other day but could not figure out how to process it.take a knife into your hands and scroll wheel until it says "gut and quarter animal" or "gut and skin animal" then it will do a animation, and you will get raw meat and other things.
