We all want a twist in the DayZ world to fix the reason that we are KOS for gaming reasons right?What about if Chenarus was at war before the apocalypse happened.

The Earth is in the midst of an extinction of its primary species,humans.After the Mayan prophecy came true and the polar caps shifted,the Earth couldn't sustain enough food to feed its human populations.Reason is animals that migrated with the seasons using magnetic north have been migrating to the north pole instead.Massive extinctions are happening and its getting worse as the food chains crumble.Governments are dealing with it as best as they can but sadly some have resorted to type of controlled mass extinction.This New World Order(NWO),as they call themselves,are trying to mass murder huge areas of various places in the world that they feel are the least productive to its future growth.Expendable people is what they refer to these areas.Chenarus,was chosen as the first such area where the NWO has decided to test its mass murder machine.Its a small low population area with a few military bases to plan their attack and so they started,but something has gone terribly wrong.The NWO genetically engineered a virus that targets just humans with quick and painless death as their DNA basically melted but instead the humans mutated to primitive,low intelligence creatures hell bent on attacking living creatures they come across.Some people also seem immune to this chemical weapon.

Ok,so gameplay.......have it so that you can play NWO or play survivor at a 1/3 server population in favor of survivors.NWO spawn at NWAF and survivors spawn at coast.NWO wear breathing apparatuses to protect them from breathing the DayZ virus that still lays low in the air.

NWO is out to clear map by manually killing the infected as well as the virus immune.They move twon to town killing as they go along.The survivors are out to kill these murderers as best as they can.

OR it can be something different like a normal war with military VS civilians.Either way,there could be map goals like complete eradication of the opposing force but with infected everywhere adding to the problem.Make it 1000 military must die and server ends session.Make it so that while the survivors have not fallen to the virus yet it doesn't mean they wont.NWO militia not only wear breathing apparatus but also carry the cure in a tiny blue pill etc.Or maybe someone can come up with better idea.Just putting this out there to see what people think................

the AI is either too good or too poor most of the time this would result in exploiting or lots of angry players big no to this from me.

But the NWO and the survivors are both real players.The AI is just infected and animals.;)
