Anyone get this error message? Anyone know how to avoid it? I was just trying to join the Grey Matter server which was 33/40 and it loaded completely normally, except that after the countdown, it simply gave a red error message in the chat box saying it couldn't load my character so it has been reset. This is my 3rd character who's life has been ended by the game, and not a player character. Up until my last month of playing the game, I haven't experienced a single unfair death or reset, and now it seems to be happening en masse.

 

Any tricks for avoiding this problem? It's a pretty annoying problem...I had 3 drum mags, fully decked out AKM - you know, an absolutely loaded character. Doesn't really seem worth acquiring any loot until this is ironed out, it's pretty lame when I don't even get to experience a proper death...

 

Instead of deleting the existing player data and creating new data so quickly and nonchalantly, maybe it should back up the existing data, create a log file and create some useful information so it doesn't happen again?

Did you reconnect or just wait? When I hit escape, it showed that the scene being loaded was exactly where my character left off, and it just sat there saying "Please wait...", I was hoping if I quit and rejoin another server quickly enough it would save my character, but alas, I was a fresh spawn. :(

 

I manage to take a screenshot before his disappearance. Rest in peace Vyborg bandit, your legacy will live on.

 

 

 

(That's where I logged out btw, I find it highly unlikely I was killed upon logout).
