Please help. Mic issues.

When i try to talk to another player, my mic does not work. The person i am talking to says they can hear me for about a second, then it goes black. If i try to talk to them again after that, they cant even hear me for that second. I am bound to chat, which really sucks. This is very annoying and often gets me killed. A solution would be much appreciated. (I posted this in the troubleshooting section a day ago and got no replies so this is my last hope)

I assume everyone uses push to talk? Perhaps try a different button, have you checked the audio settings? Make sure you keep the button held in or double tap it to keep it permanent, double tap again to stom.

Yes. Im pressing the correct button. The microphone emblem is on the screen when Im talking. And he settings are good. People can hear me for about a second before it stops working.

Question 1a): What button is set to be your push to talk button in DayZ?

Question 1b): Is that key bound to anything else ( check twice! )

Question 2: Is everything working as intended in software like skype / teamspeak / windows audiorecorder ?

I'm on the receiving end of that.  I've heard only one guy's mic, ever, and then nobody's mic since.

Yes. Everything else works correctly. But, when I try to talk in game, it freezes up skype and skype stops working. This is so frustrating and I can't figure out what is wrong with it.
