DURRHUNTER 597 Posted October 7, 2014 Bad FPS is common, Strong dual cores and quad cores do best with above 3Ghz. Have fun. Bye!
HeicPy 0 Posted October 7, 2014 Well it is an alpha... but even still, millions of people play it without FPS issues like that.cant believe, everyone have issues with fps but not like that, everyone have like 30fps not even more i guess, to have 70FPS it would be impossible best game eu :D
umm_me 77 Posted October 7, 2014 Yes 30ish FPS seems normalish to me. I dont have an FPS counter so Im estimating, but I dont think the game is optimized enough, in its alpha state, for 60fps. Now I will on rare occasions get FPS drops, but nothing so bad to say its 10fps all the time, rather a few seconds of every few hours, or visits to the biggest cities can cause poor poor FPS like that. pilgrim* 3514 Posted October 7, 2014 Well it is an alpha... but even still, millions of people play it without FPS issues like that. Check the forums there is a LOT of discussion.. you are not the first to ask a question like this.. you are maybe the 1743dbut not the firstyou'll get a lot more info than just heading a post and waiting around for someone to explain things to you. The ones that like to explain and provide solutions have already done this1743 times... and some others who like to argue about those helpful comments and hints, have done so around 5229 times (it's not an exact count, I didnt check them all because Ive already READ a million discussions on FPS But anyway, seeing as you're here waiting.. You said that word "laptop" That's a bad word, unless you want to spend a lot of money on this month's ace Gaming achine.. but then why would you buy a laptop, you an international businessman who needs to play in PanAm executive class (or on the subway or something?) Bet you connect to the internet by wifi too ? Theres a whole lot of crapness dumped on your FPS right from the start. BUT - check around - try a FORUM search on .. something .. something exciting like "FPS"you might come up with more solutions and arguments and alternatives than you can read in a day, even on an executive laptop ps - don't get mad a my post, I play on a 10 year old Dual Core, but I've done a few things to it... it plays ok by DayZ standards... read up about those too.. plenty of people play fine on worse gear than yours, others don't. xx pilgrim
