It's always when you have the mp5 too.  The exact same thing has happened to me like 3 times before.  Worst bug in Day Z, hands down.

 

Edit: looking at that video again, it's weird that you didn't get any kind of "my leg is in pain" message.  That always seems to accompany me with the fall damage bug.
