I find your methods of "conversion" to be rather somewhat extreme. I would simply have shot you outright the second you were in my sights and be done with you. no will forever mean no. I will never comprehend the "you must be my friend or else" attitude.

There are better, more pacifist ways to say "No".

A form of submission, complying to the social norms if you may.

Then again, you could argue that this is all just a game.

 

And mind you :), he did attempt to shoot me, but to no avail.

I respected his decisions, and I was actually about to step away after taking out the last zombie but there was clear indication of hostility as you can see he raised his weapon.
