constant faint footsteps!?!

Hello!

 

just thought i would post something that i have only begun to hear recently, i wanted to see if anyone else can hear the same noises as i am. Basically when i am still i can hear faint footsteps of a player moving, even tho i can see clearly there is no one in the building i am searching in a remote town for example, even in the wilderness i can hear it. Today it freaked me out something terrible like there is someone outside. it even got a good bit louder but no sign of a player. any thoughts? glitch? suggestions? would be great. cheers

I get the same, echos of your steps. they will adjust the sound and get it right

I usually find it's a zombie stuck somewhere (like inside a wall) nearby.

Animals also make rather human footstep sounds lately. I almost got paranoid from footsteps only to find a boar behind a house.
