Inventory when running

In all videos I see people opening up their inventory while continuing to run.  How do you do that?  Whenever I open my inventory my character stops.

I can still use the WASD keys when in inventory... Always has been like that for me.

wierd.... i just alt-tab and it opens. I only stop when i'm sprinting and i want to open the inv. But that's my fault. The keybinds open the comunity window and i'm to lazy to change the bindings

afaik you just press a movement key again after opening your inv. i do this when i'm trying to find the "sweet spot" for trying to pick certain items up.
