Multiple Characters in 1st Person/Hardcore

I experianced that i have more than one Char and i only play on Hardcore/1st person Servers..

Played for hours.. died, played for hours, switched server, played for hours,died and so on
Switched server again and boom i have an old character from Days ago.. hmm? okay
so i switch to another server and i am a newspawn, back again to the other server my old fully geared character !?!

My Question is,since the Private shards aren´t released yet.. is this something that has to do with persitance?
Do we have 2 Hardcorecharacters now, one with persitance enabled and one with it disabled.. or what is that..
Did someone experiance the same..  it can´t be some kind of "saving"-lag
i can reproduce this with switching some different server

Probably has to do with the server and it's connection to the hive. I've noticed some "brands" of servers are worse at connecting to the hive than others.
