GORKA Helmet is Bullet Resistant Confirmed/Tested

Today I got shot in the head with a visorless, GORKA helmet, and lived.

 

I was already very low on blood as well, and the round that hit me in the head was 7.62x51 shot from a mosin.

 

I survived about 2 minutes before bleeding out (Yes the shot knocked me out, but I still lived!)

the problem is that it's not melee resistance :S

No offense to all experiences you folks made, but can we also get some hard technical facts in to confirm this? Or are there, perhaps, other factors to keep in mind besides those, etc

 

Last I know, someone posted statistics of like 3 head items and the ballistic helmet had the highest protection value out of those, with the gorka helmet being more decent or weaker (in comparison).

the problem is that it's not melee resistance :S

 

I know, silly mechanic. Construction helmet protects from melee, even facemask gorka does nothing :/

Same with ballistic helmet, no trauma protection.

Gorka helmet with face mask should almost make your head invincible.

telescoping baton does 9000 points of shock damage to the head, slightly below a fire axe hit 

maska helmet has no shock protection

That's what I meant, the helmets not having shock protection probably isn't intended.

The MASKA helmet with visor can block 1 axe hit to the head.

I don't think a ballistics helmet should stop a 7.62x51 round... x39 maybe and 5.56 but not 7.62x51. 

 

and yes I agree, they should have shock protection.
