Military barricade in Cap golova

Location: Cap Golova

The barricade goes all the way to the beach with only 1 entrance at the main road. There used to be a military group controlling this area, making It a safe haven for survivors. Lots have gathered and it was a lot of fun(the survivors in the pic are strangers). The militaries eventually left but it is still a landmark for this server :)

Any group willing to have fun should take control of it.

I heard that it spawns in a military vehicle with very low chance.

Don't know the specifics, my friends got me that uniform. It is badass :)

Hehe this is great. Were some of the soldiers patrolling the area so bandits can't get in? If there were more players per server this type of behavior could be more common, although more than probably it would just lead to Battlefield type of gaming instead of surviving.

I dont recall hearing about mil uniforms spawning and I have never seen one. Also a few of the people in the pictures have them, if they are such a low spawn what chance more then one of you would have one?

I have seen another player with that skin, that guy also had a Gold Revolver (which stole when I killed him btw :) ) Must be scripts that have been used to spawn in stuff.

One person confirmed that it is in the DayZ code, so i decided to keep it to myself.

If the dev confirm that the unifrom isn't legit, then i would take it off.

His attitude does however show that his own perception knows there is something wrong with the clothing itself, but wants to keep them for the bragging rights factor.

Also, nobody in the Day Z forum can confirm things without EVIDENCE, please show me the SOURCE that the guy used to confirm it, otherwise you're just pulling BS out of your ass to justify what you know is questionable.

I seen a guy named Keven last night in one of the barracks at the NWAF with a helmet (at least I thought it was lol). I was like wtf?!?! Shot at him, but he disconnected of course... (Looked cool though as he vaulted over the bench with the helmet in the dark without NV).

Anyway, I looked around in DayZ_code.pbo under actions player_wearClothes.sqf and found this...pretty sure it says you can switch to that skin Soldier1_DZ. Not sure where to find anything else about it in the files though. Didn't spend to much time on it...and I don't know wtf I'm doing lol...so...

I believe the skin you are seeing is the old Bandit skin.

Crosshade, the clothing's name itself is soldier, and when other guys see me the nametag is soldier(like sniper for ghillie and survivor for survivor)

should i change this thread's title to 'Soldier clothing legit or not'? :D

I knew there would be some sort of discussion about that clothing, but i thought i already make a clear statement about that long time ago.

Anyway the soldier uniform doesn't even matter, i died long time ago

Just because it's in the code doesn't mean it's legit. Also, just because you "died long time ago" doesn't mean you can't just get a new one by doing some crazy shit.

I looked through the code. The soldier skin is in there but it doesn't spawn. I guess you cannot access it through normal means...

Plus, that barricade looks extremely suspicious. Parts of that barricade cannot be spawn by normal players.
