Chaingunfighter 917 Posted October 23, 2014 Yeah my GPS Works when i am Hiking in the Mountains with Zero ReceptionDoesn't need it - they utilize satellites, hence why hikers often carry a satellite phone in case of emergencies - they can be used practically anywhere.Granted, after enough time, satellites do lose their orbital path and need to be re-adjusted or replaced, but this takes years, especially for military satellites. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
