Game minimizes when pressing CAPS and Backspace

Dear community of DayZ Standalone,

 

Today I bought a keyboard and a monitor. I hooked it up to my laptop, but when I press CAPS LOCK and Backspace to speak / chat, the game minimizes. I have never had this problem before! And I have been on Google and reading like crazy - but can't find any answers to my issue. Does anyone know how to fix this? It happens if i plug out the screen, and just try to play on my laptop only.. I have no idea how this could have happened. 

 

NOTE: At first it only happened while pressing / holding CAPS, but then a bit later it happened when I pressed backspace as well. 

 

I would be extremely happy if someone could come with possible solutions! I really need help here. Thank you so much in advance!  :)  :beans:

Look in your graphics control panel, its possible that running multi monitor activates a new set of shortcut key actions

what kind of graphics card do you have?

I have an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675MX 4gb

I think its caused by the graphic thiny when you for example turn up/down volume. It displays a little box in the corner. But it's weird that it happens when I press backspace as well, since there is no graphic notification when you press it..

try rebinding your push to talk keys and see if it still happens

It doesn't happens with the backspace anymore, only the keys that display a graphic box in the corner to notify me that the caps is on / off you know.. So that is where the problem is. I have managed to change the talk key to the back button on my mouse, so I'm fine for now.. But I still want to solve this problem anyways. :-) What do you mean by model? It's a special built laptop.

Yeah it sounds like a thing with your function key software. Seeing how its a custom rig may be difficult to pin down. Just look around in your settings its prolly in there somewhere
