I Can't Find Kindling (yes I cut the bushes down)

Recommended Posts

I just want to find out if this is a bug.  I chop down bush after small tree after shrub.  I find no kindling, no sticks....

Prior to three weeks ago this was not a problem, but lately...

I try to chop down a tree.... 30 whacks plus...  The tree still stands.

So two issues really, but what a drag when I break something, run out of morphine, have rags, rope, etc.... I can't even make a splint, or an improvised backpack.  What the heck?

Seriously!? Didn't we just do this together a few days ago?  How will we make a campfire to cook the bacon we killed last time? :)

I hooked up a DayZ dev with a couger who will sleep with anyone.  He promised me one of these in the next release:

Where's my friend the pig?  Time for a Hawaiian Luau.

But seriously, I chop shrubs down left and right and I use inventory to find a stick... nothing.

Odd I made a splint tonight from a stick I found by "searching for kindling".  You must have found some odd bug.

Could you imagine how much all the kiddies would enjoy cooking fresh spawns with that?

And as for your friend the pig, he is neatly packed in my hunter's backpack in the form of 6 nice little pork chops all ready to go.  Have they added pineapples and the mechanic to dig an authentic cooking pit yet?

But could you imagine how much fun it would be to shot them in the back and watch the tanks explode on them :)

Pits, schmitts.  I want a Bugatti and a sawed off express rifle.

And laser beams.  Gotta have laser beams on the Bugatti.

The question is, are you scroll wheeling on the bush and selecting the option? Or are you just whacking it with your left mouse button?

if it's taking you 30 hits with an axe chances are your axe is ruined. Yes chopping trees degrades the axe
