S1ayer450 (DayZ) 2 Posted September 8, 2014 (edited) Since there's going to be hyperthermia in next stable patch I think it would make sense to add a little machanic option to wash your face next to the pond, or if you have a bottle of water use some of the water to cool you off a little. This can be useful without having to take off all your cloths and take a little dip in the pond to get soak, even when near the coastline unless you are in despreate times.Edit: Also spongy, yellow, delicious bastards (twinkies) would be nice as well. General Zod 1118 Posted September 8, 2014 Yea getting hypothermia and hyperthemia during the same season. The only way to get hyperthemia in dayz from running would be to put on some thick coat or jacket and do a lot of running.
degude 133 Posted September 9, 2014 We should wait how the hyperthermia turns out, but I like this idea.
jubeidok 495 Posted September 10, 2014 (edited) I think you can go even further with this. Like wash your face because you have zombie blood all over it. Wash your hands because you just ate a can of the Chef with them or an orange and now they're all sticky. Don't want to be handling those weapons and ammo with sticky, dirty hands do you? I'm always amazed at the Chernarussian sewing kit technology every time I patch some clothing up. Their government really needs to release this stuff to the rest of the world, they wouldn't be such a poor country any more. This stuff is amazing, doesn't just patch holes in clothing, it restores them to factory default and removes all stains and dirt! Point being: if they ever angle those sewing kits towards authenticity, you might want to use some of that water to wash your clothes as well.
