Healthy buff?

Hey guys

I'm playing sa 48

I've seen people play on twitch and they have a hydrated and a healthy buff where it says when you get hungry and thirsty. I've never had this show up for me. Is there a way in the settings to get it to show up or do i just have to eat and drink lots for it to show up. After I eat and drink my hungry and thirsty goes away but nothing like that shows up

You need to eat and drink until you have the hydrated and energized status. It will start off dark green and go to a light green when it's maxed out. The healthy status doesn't always show up until you take a hit then it should say "healing". When you are fully healed you will get the healthy status.

Things are not as simple as they seem in DayZ, this guy does a pretty good job of figuring out the nuances of how DayZ works.

It will take a while after you have the hydrated and energised bars before you get healthy as you need to regen blood or health first (not sure which, think it's blood) and then you will get 'healing'. Once you've healed it'll change to healthy.
