Where can I find Blood Transfusion?

Hi all, I'm a new player and I'm finally doing GREAT, picked up my first automated weapon, a secondary pistol, got lots of supplies!!!

but..... I'm at 3k blood and need a blood transfusion, being new to the game I have no single idea where I need to go, the only place I do know in this game Is Electro which I spent most of my time.

Would appreciate a helpful answer

You can only give other people a blood transfusion, so it won't work on yourself.

However, you can hunt an animal, gut it and cook the meat over a fire. The cooked meat will heal you for 800 blood a piece.

Also, blood bags can be found at hospitals mostly :)

Blood transfusions can be available at hospitals, downed helicopters and other players (in case they picked one up earlier). Also keep in mind that you cannot apply a transfusion to yourself - only to other players.

When you are playing on your own the best way to get your health up is finding a hatchet, a hunting knife and matches. Killing animals and having a little barbeque gives you meat that restores 800 blood per item instead of the 200 the canned food gives. One cow gives 8 pieces of meat (smaller animals give less).

Don't forget to pick up some morphine auto injectors while you're at it, you are going to need them...(pending update).

Thanks, yes I had a couple of everything stacked up except blood. I ended up going into Electro, was getting shot at by a group of 3 people, managed to take one out and ran off to a safe place to deposit my items, so I could get killed by a zombie and get my blood back (Screen was blinding me).

Now onto the quest to find this location :P
