Today is the best day....so far

Since I started playing Dayz SA a few days ago I would have to say that today has been the best day so far. So there I was in Devils Castle, decided to go west to the airport. There I found a mountain pack, 2x 75 round AK drum, an AK, a scope, some cool camo pants, gas mask, camo top and a chest holster. Now I just need to find a tactical vest so I can carry more stuff. That is all :) I would like to find an M4A1 though!

Nice :D If you play on high pop servers you will have a better chance of not being spotted by other players if you down size your backpack or don't use one at all. just a tip :)

Don't get too happy... all it takes is some stairs in either an aircraft control tower or fire station, OR some sniper or crazy ax man to quickly take away those shiny new things! Enjoy them while they last!  :P

FYI the chest holster is not compatible with the tactical vests.

Also, try to not get too aattached to your gear. It makes getting killed a bit easier...

^^ Yea I was gonna say I hope you don't get too attached to your gear :D. It's all part of the process. Glad you are having fun as that is the most important.

And don't get too concerned with getting your hands on every imaginable piece of equipment right away. Once you have it all, you'll be even more scared of.... everything. And stumbling upon cool gear when you aren't looking for it is half the fun in dayz right now

North west airfield is by far my favourite place. If your not a hacker it's the best place to get gear. Surprisingly though it's not very popular. Once they correct duping I'm sure we'll see more activity there.

Nice work! the only time i made it to devils castle alive i was coming back down and got slingshot down through some stairs, then rubber banded back and then sling shot forward into a wall... 3 seconds later (you are dead)......
