How I feel fighting against Hackers

Was in a firefight at Berezino and a hacker came along. Used invisibility and teleportation hacks on me and my friends. 

(Cyborg Ninja = hacker, soldiers = squad, Solid Snake = fresh spawn bystander) 

 

This is not a rant about hackers. In any case how do you deal with them? try killing them? Combat log?

I deal with them by not playing DayZ. It's pathetic right now. Every time I try to play, hackers everywhere. I'm waiting for the next ban wave.

Its pretty bad. I wonder if the increase is because of the fact that its so popular and easy to hack dayz that more and more sites are selling the hacks and having to lower the price due to competetion. So we are seeing exponential growth of hackers. Its freaking ridiculous.

I know Bohemia doesnt seem to mind but at what point does Steam become concerned and worried about reputation and quality?

Is dayz not the most hacked game ever sold on steam?

This thread will 99% certainty get noticed by one of the mods and merged into the stickied hacking status thread pinned at the top of the forum FYI. But until then, by 2 cp:

1. I was running towards Novo, and heard an M4 firing. Rythmic firing, as if he was doing a drum beat from a rock song. After the 200th shot I realized I was up against someone with a hacked unlimited mag and I simply turned around and headed the other direction.
2. I was in Cernaya Polana when I heard loud shots going off near me. I snuck around a building to see what was happening and saw 2 guys teleporting across the field between CP and Novo chasing 2-3 other people. I immediately ran into the nearest 2 story building and logged out and back into another server hoping the hackers weren't into server hopping.

Moral of the story - I avoid them at all costs (and report them when I can). I cannot WAIT until the server wipe with .49 and item duping being fixed, and I also cannot wait until the teleporters are dealt with. Until then, I just deal with it and when I know I'm up against cheaters I either avoid the situation or simply log and try another server in hopes that there aren't hackers there as well.

Wait. I know the devs said they can stop duping eventually. But have they ever made an official statement that they will stop speed hacks/teleporters? Im afraid they have hardly admitted they exist.

Nothing....and I really mean nothing...gives me more pleasure that to kill a hacker...we have done it twice!......love it......every piece of hack....LOL

If the exact same hacks have been around for the 9 months I have been playing, and they have not been fixed, then I can presume the dev's will never fix these hacks.  I would think 9 months would be enough.  Hopefully one day they actually allow the server admins to see who is hacking at the least for local bans.  I do not understand why the dev's completely ignore the hacking situation.  They don't fix it, they don't care about it, and they don't talk about it.

I don't roam the coastregions. That's how I avoid them. And if we notice something fishy going on elsewhere, we run as fast as we can.
