Listening skills...

1. I know about the firestation roof, does not help you though when you approach from south, north or west.

2. I'm not talking about the ACT roof, but the control room.

3. Flashbangs and nades are not abundant. Campers are on 3rd person. You still propose close combat that will just cause my own death, regardless how good I play. Believe me, that desync shit is the main cause of my deaths. More than 60% of my deaths atleast account to desync in Closequarters. I kind of don't understand your scenario here. Why would they be prone watching the stairs in the control room? They'd watch outside and see me approach and shoot then. If they fail to kill me then (which is unlikley, as they have all the advantages), they still can have a man on the stonestairs, watching the entrance, completly invisible to me, peeking with 3rd person. And of course I can do the same outside. The problem being though that I have to come in and clear him out, he doesn't. I will expose myself as soon as I enter the hallway/entrance of the ACT, and he will be coming out of his hiding with his gun pointed at my head or chest, already shooting when he leaves his hidingspot.

And this is why its called babycore. People just sit there and watch everything without exposing themselves, knowing it's hard to get rid of them and requires way more skill and planning than what they demonstrate while camping. In 1st person it's perfectly valid to approach NWA from any direction. In 3rd person it's only reasonable to enter from the east, to check for firestation campers and ACT campers. Forcing me to be pigeonholed there, limiting my valid options.

In all of your scenarios it sounds like you're running around said buildings without watching the known camper spots... If you're running outside the ATC and NOT watching for someone to stand up and shoot you from the inside, then you're not playing as well as you could be...

Also, if you approach from any direction around the Firestation OTHER than the East, then they cannot zoom in on their sniper rifle to spot you.. which means you have to run relatively close or way out in the open.. In any case, it's pointless to argue it.. I understand why you don't prefer it, but it doesn't make it "babycore".. Maybe it's "mancore" because I can come across the same campers and I somehow manage to shove their camping up their ass and take all their gear.

Couple DayZ ago I was chilling in good ol' Novo, looking to have some player interactions. Meet 4 guys. 3 semi kitted guys and a fairly new spawn. 2 of the guys had guns. And so did I. But we called friendly and did our own thing, no problem. I'm not into killing but I saw a guy drinking a pipsi, I thought this is my chance to make contact. He had a weapon out so while he was drinking was my safest option, I called out " yo man, friendly?" he calmly replies "yeah dude just looting up". Seeing as I had the drop on him and im the exposed, I said quite firmly "put the weapon away man. just wanna talk" He proceeds to do so. I come out of my hiding corner and show myself. I showed myself and he put his weapon away. Everythings okay. I have my weapon lowered (Crossbow) But still inline with his head if he tried anything, and what do you know he did. Pulled out the weapon, aimed it towards me. In a split second, i raised my crossbow and swiftly and cleanly finished him to the head.

Why do people not understand what friendly is. I'm the one who talked, I had no intentions of harm, If I wanted to kill you, I would have done so. Peek corner, aim, fire, unpeek. Done. But no people think they are some fucking 1337 quickscopers. Moral of this? -LISTEN!

(Might not make much sense but fuck you.) <3

No clue but people like that who dont listen just add some character to the game as much as getting kosed can suck and i know we all hate it.Its just part of the game that makes us love it and roughens us up.
