z0mbie 33 Posted August 25, 2014 Anyone else feel like footstep sounds from other players need to be louder? When you're hiding in an abandoned house in the middle of what is essentially a ghost town, scared for your life, someone running up them stairs should sound like a goddamn thunder storm. But instead we're lucky if we barely hear them.
Airfield 50 Posted August 25, 2014 I think it should depend on what kind of shoes the player is wearing. Whether they are clunky military boots or soft padded tennis shoes would make a difference. But I do agree that footsteps should sound like pistol shots when no other sound is existent.
green_machine 179 Posted August 25, 2014 If anything, they need to be quieter, I think it's a shame that no matter what you do, you can't "creep" around. I think maybe a new animation or option for "creeping" is in order. It's not hard to walk without making a noise.

I have thought this same idea since the standalone released
