Yesterday me and my brother was camping in the cranes in Svet harbor and out of nowere my brother dies, no gun shots heard.
10 sec later i die, yet again, no shots heard and where i was lying it would be impossible to shoot me.
So we run back to the harbor, my brothers body is UNDER the crane and mine is still inside it, so we loot our gear and climp in to the same crane and it only took a few seconds and then i died out of nowhere again.
According to my brothers screen it's like i got pulled out of the crane, falling through it.
So i run back, this time my gear is however in the middle of the air under the crane, unable to get it back.

You should report this to the dev hub and make a ticket post. Have the admins and dev look into it. These kind of bugs are the ones they fix pretty quick. You'll need to provide a lot of info how to reproduce, video, picture, etc...good luck.

This also happens in the fire station.

 

It happens when on the server side, the collision mismatches, thus the server thinks you are below the floor and you fall to your death, yet on the client everything seems ok, until the server fires the (what he thinks death) to your client and you die, it is a wel known bug and should be fixed in upcoming 0.49

Exactly, you clipped through the floor server-side. When this happens, it's not the best idea to go back there and try to get up again on the same server. It's very likely to happen again then.

This is really breaking my balls, just got the same bug on top of the police station in Svet.
There's really no point gearing up in this game atm, either your character gets reset when logging in or you die of one of the gazillion bugs in the game...

Except from my own experience with testing it unfortunately not. But it has been said before that server side desync can cause clipping errors.
