IZurvive issue: Can't join my group?

I can't join the DayZ group given to me by one of it's members. I'm pretty sure the username and secret are correct as he gave them to me but it keeps telling me I created the group and not joining it. Is this a common issue or is it an issue with me?

Hi Ohanzee. I’m an iZurvive developer. This usually occurs if our servers are under heavy load and timeouts occur as a result. Sorry about that! We’re aware of that issue and working very hard to resolve it. As you seem to have noticed, trying a bit later usually helps to avoid those problems for the time being.

My friend is having the same issues. He clicks on the link we have in Discord. It keeps telling him that he needs to be log in. He logged in and try both re-clicking the link from discord. and coping it and trying to join through both the app and on a web browser. all it says is he needs to be join in. No idea why it saying that? Any ideas
