Accidental Survivor

After deciding the end was near and rushing into the warzone that was Berinzino, I inexplicably find myself in a far better state than I started off in.

 

I attribute the ending to sheer dumb luck, both in to regards to hitting the guy in the first place, and deciding to run at his position with nothing but my axe when I still believed him to be alive and dangerous.  

 

I've since logged back in and found the vest, which appeared empty to be full of medical supplies and a single can of beans, which I needed quite badly.  The ammo can also contained full stacks of 5.56 ammunition.

 

I regret not grabbing his shirt or pants, but in hindsight I think the zombie would have killed me if I'd taken any extra time before starting to bandage.  

 

I don't know if this guy was duping or not, but I'm very grateful for the find, given my situation.  And grateful I apparently shot him in the face, because everything I took is pristine.

 

Reviewing the video after the fact, I see how lucky I was in grabbing his rifle- he had two on him, and the one I grabbed initially had much few attatchments.  I was bleeding to death, (potentially) under fire, and didn't notice at the time.  Thankfully I panic-grabbed the AK101 a second time off his body, not realizing it was another weapon entirely.  The one I left with is quite nice.
