What's up with the axes/melee weps?

I don't find first person to help me at all, and zombies are bullshit. I preferred the last patch to this one in terms of melee, and the ones before that over it obviously.

One zombie, ok, multiple zombies, especially hopping/crouching fuck them, they're broken.
