Canteen / Water Bottle with Rope

Just an idea 

 

- Rope + Canteen / Water Bottle = Something that you can carry on your person , not just in your backpack.

The rope could be around your torso and the Canteen its self could be around your waist ( The canteen should be on one of your sides or near the back of your body. )

Instead of rope,it would make more sense to have it as a smersh vest attachment like illustrated below.
