DayZ Performance

Recommended Posts

So I have been playing DayZ and the DayZ mod lately and on the mod I max at around 30-35 fps and on the SA I max at 22-26 fps

so I was wondering what I could do with the cash I have to improve my fps rate. Any ideas or recommendations?

Specs:

Manufacturer: iBUYPOWER

Processor: AMD FX-6300 Six-Core Processor 3.50 GHz

Installed Memory(RAM): 8.00 GB RAM

System: 64-Bit Operating System, x64-based processor

Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series

Windows Edition: 8.1

Specs:

Manufacturer: iBUYPOWER

Processor: AMD FX-6300 Six-Core Processor 3.50 GHz Consider upgrading to something in the same architecture with a higher clockspeed Perhaps and FX8350.

Installed Memory(RAM): 8.00 GB RAM Fine just make sure you are running a dual channel setup.

System: 64-Bit Operating System, x64-based processor Fine

Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series Consider upgrading to 7900/290x series or GTX 760/770

Windows Edition: 8.1 Fine

Use and SSD if you aren't already

I think you mean crossfire, which is the SLI equivalent for AMD cards. I wouldn't suggest crossfiring two low end cards, it's a lot better just to put your money into a  better card.

you will get zero improvment in dayz by running a crossfire setup. it is always best to get the single best card you can afford.

22fps in cities.

funny doesnt matter if its high or low settings. same fps. but you can feel if feels rubber banding on high settings. but yet displays same amount of fps.
