Zombies are just annoying

First of all' date=' that zombies even exists isnt realistic so fuck the realisictic part, its still a game. And u cant avoid the zombies forever, (manage) shooting one (manage to find a weapon!) just makes 4 or 5 to run after u, then u have to run because u cant shoot the rest of them because they run they same pattern as a fly. u can still have the same zombie surviving simulation feeling if the dev. fixes a couple of things. i like his idea and i think he should only fix the bad things, not change the "rules"

You seem to think you -are- the one to enlighten us though, climb the fuck off your high horse? Zombies arent optimal at the moment, you can handle them fine if you're experienced but no, the run speed isnt optimal, I'd rather you outrun them at first but you cant sprint forever, for example.

What gives you the right to bitch at people and claim you -are- right?

Because i'm right. Also, i don't try to change the game because i had a bad experience. That gives me all sorts of rights over you guys, cuzz you guys are irritating as fuck and just plain wrong.

Also, you dont have to run forever, there are multiple ways to lose a zombie, obviously someone who is totally not a noob like you will know but i'll just tell you them anyway: run zig zag up a steep hill, run to the docks of a town, rune between houses breaking the LOS, trowing a smoke grenade, ...

You can claim this doesn't work for you but i use all of it everyday, gues that's why i'm on a horse and your not.

Lol what the hell. Every thread has someone saying "stop trying to change the game n00b". What the fuck are you doing in the SUGGESTION forums? Either Day Z has an overdose of dickheads, or this is one of the most coordinated troll campaigns I have ever seen.

Being realistic is not the same as being real. Zombies can be realistic.

Which one of you is going to start defending wall-hacking zombies first?

most of the rage coming you way here i because of the fact that everybody knows this about zombie movement,everybody knows, everybody has posted about it and everyone that reads the articles knows Rocket is working on it. Also that its limited by the 10 year old engine.

I hope they make the zombies do more damage. They only do like 200 blood/hit so you can get hit dozens of times. They are only really dangerous when you start bleeding/break a leg. Bleeding is only really dangerous when you don't notice you're bleeding, which can easily happen if you play in first-person and are too busy running away from them to notice.

The pathing definitely needs to get fixed - I think we're all in agreement on that. That's probably pretty high on the patching priority list before beta.

And as much as I hate to say it... they need to make the zombies move faster in houses. But not until they fix the pathing. It is a bit annoying when they are walking through the walls of the supermarket, or hitting you from 2 floors down in a fire station. Making them not spawn on roofs is probably also a good idea.

One thing I find that destroys the immersion is the zombies spawning & standing directly on the loot piles. What kind of zombie would just stand there forever, seemingly unable to move?

Yeah, true that. We can find other ways to balance that improvement, like allowing us to barricade doors, or allowing us to defeat them in unarmed melee in some circumstances.

Just lost my character of 3 hours to a broken leg.9000 blood and I aggro and head towards the hills.Dam zombie one shot hits me broken leg.This is just ridiculous and is how I lose most of my characters.You wanna add two infected damage possibilities with one more severe then other.....make it broken arm instead so at least the player is not crawling for next 3 hours if that. :(

I posted before about bites but no one is biting.Could even make the harsher infected attack a vicious bite wound.Bandages for small cuts but bite wounds require stitches.Maybe add in infection if not treated in certain time.
