Items that are rare/been removed?

So I've been looting in Stable for about a week now after not really playing for 2 weeks, and I noticed that it's impossible to find an M4 anywhere in the map where they used to be. It also seems that most long guns are frankly a PITA to find anywhere except at airfields, and even there its not much more besides the SKS. Anyone give me some advice as to where I can get my hands on the new AK, or possibly even a mosin or the the bolt action rifle?

They only spawn in heli crashes (random).

Heli crashes don't work in .47 stable so good luck finding one.

 

AKs currently spawn in barracks. Statistically, the AK101 is a shittier M4.

 

Mosins are pretty much civvy spawns only.

Speaking of uncommon, I haven't seen a supressor for handguns in weeks.

Longhorns are still around, you just have to know where to look for them. Been finding more binoculars lately. It took me hours and hours to find an AK101 mag though.

 

P.S.,

 

Found a hack saw, then almost immediately found a shotty and got to sawing it. Now I have a beautiful sawed-off shotgun with a nice snap loader. It fits in my mountain backpack too!

I see them quite often. Remember; they're small and will often be somewhat hard to see due to the matching color with grey floors.

Check blue-wood hospital buildings and the jailcell of the militairy office.

Seems like the Combat Knife disappeared with the last patch, when they made it so that you could store a knife in Militairy Boots.

Plenty. They now take two spots in your inventory, this way; (O = Binoculars, X = Free space in your inventory

I've found them in stores, normal houses, millitairy offices and also a firestation. You might just be on a streak of bad luck, I spent four days looking for an olive facemask, and when I found one it despawned as I untied it.
