Zeratul0910 0 Posted June 30, 2012 I was playing dayZ by myself, and as i was passing out every 30 seconds while crawling due to a broken leg, it struck me, if Im not losing blood, why isn't my blood amount regenerating over time...even slowly. Now I know that was intended, but the way I see it, if I can crawl around for half an hour my blood should be pumping still, so I think that blood should regenerate (as long as your not starving, thirsty or bleeding) by a small amount (like 8.33/ second, which would take 24 hours to regenerate your blood fully) that way, you aren't f*cked if you manage to stay alive and get to safety, but I also think that food should heal about half as much with this change, but you would need to not be hungry or else your blood couldn't regenerate. Obviously you wouldn't gain health if you were,t in game, so, you couldn't really just log out in a safe spot wait a day then come back fully healed. I feel this would add some more realism, and improve the single player experience, without altering the coop one, beside when ur close to death, i find the game loses its edge, because you almost know your f*cked, this way we would have a small chance*edit* forget the food nerfing, its fine as is Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

At a rate of 8.33 blood per second, you would be healed from 1 blood to 12,000 blood in 1,440 seconds.Math, not even once.Here's a better calculation.
