Map Notes

Hey

 

Im fairly new to DayZ and when in my first few sessions I managed to figure out and navigate my way with the map in the game. I decided one day to start making notes but then they would be deleted when I logout and in again. Any one know if this is permanent or will be worked on?

I wasn't even aware that you could make map notes in the SA.

While the ability to annotate your personal map is something that we'd like to do, and will more than likely be resolved - I'll be honest, right now its definitely below the bug bar.

There are alternatives to the in game map which you have to find first to use anyhow.

Both of these are regularly updated with loot spawn locations and new towns, etc.
