Thank You Two Brits For the Delighting Experience

Recommended Posts

So I logged on Day Z today, one of the Chicago servers I think, and start walking around. I needed a transfusion. So I find a guy to help me unarmed, and give me a couple packs and bandages as a thank you. We then run off to avoid a sniper, and we go our separate ways after a bit. However, I then ran into his friend with an M16, and we met again. The unarmed helper ran into the city, and M16 guy and I went off to loot stuff. He gave me a makarov as well. We escaped zombies, snipers, and death, until ultimately we got killed with someone by a .50 cal in a barn. Our co-operation was short, but if either of you see this, I would like to thank you both. You renewed my hope in this game that was lost by being shot on sight over and over again. I now have hope that this game CAN succeed thanks to you.

Aye, the Brits are more likely to offer you a cup of tea than shoot you in the back

At least we offer them tea first, usually they just settle on killing the wrong guys with friendly fire.

As a Brit - I felt a modicum of pride when I read this post. :D

I would like to add that I have found Dutch players to be rather helpful and cool too. They are few and far between, but they are as chilled as ice.

This game DOES succeed as it is. If you get always shot, you're not careful enough. Nobody ever said it's a team-up-and-hunt-zombies-game. This game is about surviving, nothing else.

Just imagine it would be real, think about it. You may like to compare this scenario with Mad Max II, if you remember the movie ? Some good people had to fight some bad people in a world of anarchy.
