AK Magazine magic

So when playing around and spray painting my AK magazines I noticed painting them black changed the model from the standard magazine to US made Palm magazines. I've never seen these spawn anywhere, are they only created?

Yes, only created for now. And painting it green turns it into a green plastic magazine. Horrible, horrible destruction of a lovely item to do so. :P

 

Also, like with the plastic mags for the M4 it counts as a different type of magazine. So carrying both types can sometimes result in accidental reloads via the action menu.

if you paint a drum mag it turns into anger.

Makes me wonder if painting an empty mag will produce a full polymer mag.

Yeah, the US PALM mags are a bit wonky at the moment. Would love to see them spawning in the wild.
