White flashing screen while "zooming in"

Recommended Posts

First off, if this isn't the right place for this thread, I apologize. Please send it where it needs to go.

When I zoom in, whether by pressing my RMB or looking through binoculars, my screen will something "flicker" white, usually displayed as white lines about an inch thick...then the whole screen to turn white and "cool down" to the normal picture. This happened yesterday and it was yellow, instead of white.

It's probably an SLI issue. I'm using a Lenovo y510p with the GT755m SLI and i7-4700mq.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

My game flickers all the time since .46. Wasn't there in the previous patches.

Doesn't happen while zooming in, though. AMD videocard here.

If you think it's an SLI issue, turn off SLI and check again?

It's not consistent enough to know if it's an SLI issue or not. It only happens once every couple days I play. I guess I could turn it off and wait a week or so and see if it happens again. But this game is already so poorly optimized that even on lower settings, I'm only getting 25-30 fps in cities, less in the big cities. Turning my SLI off would just make that worse.

Are you sure it will? I do not think the game is optimized for SLI yet.

Yes. There are ways to force the SLI in the ultrabay to function, though due to bad optimization, it doesn't function to its fullest extent. However, It does at least keep me at 25-30 fps in cities...any lower than that, and this game becomes unplayable.
