Duped M4s?

This may have been discussed here already, but I would be interested to hear some other perspectives. I normally play hardcore, but before class this morning I decided to hop onto a regular server and fuck around in berezino. I helped some fresh spawns out, and we headed off toward the police station (muggers alley). While looting the pub down the street, I found a painted CZ527 sitting in the last room on the top floor. Upon picking it up, a hail of AK fire wizzes by me through the window to the north.

Long story short, a pair of identical players toting fully loaded M4s charged up the stairs and gunned us all down. I'm only assuming they were duped M4s because of the context. I know that I would never risk a gun as rare as an M4 to kill fresh spawns in betezino...

My question is, how common is it to encounter players with fully loaded M4s these days? I have one on hardcore and I am afraid to lose it. I would think that anyone with a legitimately acquired M4 would be more careful with it...

Duplication exploit is not fixed and works very well so there is a lot of duplications going on.

While yes they don't spawn right now, as long a few people have them they will be duped. I wouldn't say they are common, but they aren't uncommon on full servers with the title "BEREZINO PVP"

I encounter multiple daily.  When you kill them, please hide their bodies.

 

Just hide the bodies of any suspicious players, because duping is very rampant and there's no reason to perpetuate these items any more than they are.  I think it's quite likely that aside from actual dupers, a ton of these duped m4s and infinite ammo mags are the result of other players just taking them from said dupers, or else leaving the bodies and other people taking them.  So really, just hide them every time, don't take anything, it's only items.

Because m4s have not been spawning on stable for a few patches now.  While some players have legitimate ones, it's fairly easy to tell whether it is legitimate or not by how much ammo the player is carrying for it.  The majority of dupers use infinite ammo mags any ways, but when you see a guy with multiple ammo crates full of 30 round stacks of 5.56 it's better to err on the side of caution imo and just hide the body.

 

Currently the only way to get 5.56 is from ak101 mags, and while they aren't exactly rare they are also not common enough that the amount of players sporting this much ammo along with having an m4 seems legitimate.

You can tell a super by either seeing a million of the same item (pristine protector cases, 50 magazines) or by seeing two people with the exact same outfit.

There's obviously a "chance" they got lucky, but 99/100 of these people are dupers.

I never understood carrying more than one ammo crate....I have such OCD that I never use any ammo out of it anyways (it must always be full)

But my friend and I each have a fully decked out M4 with more than 300 nato rounds apiece. We just saved them on purpose and use our AKMs for our dirty work.

My charactes is alive more than two months with an M4, 3x60 and 3x40 magazines, they are now all ruined by zombies.

 

Innocent player like me lost about 120 rounds of M4 ammo's because of some *** anti cheat. All of that ammo I found on airports.

 

So, when dupe will be fixed does that mean all of us who have M4 that didnt duped will get ban or will lost M4, same situation like with ammo?

 

I actually dont care for weapon, but all of us who acquired M4 legitimately later when dupe will be fixed, we will lost or we will get ban.

If you see a guy with M4 on map you cant say it duped that M4, even if he have a lot of M4 ammo inside of box and even if M4 dont spawn in last patches. Maybe some of them didnt played game for long time and still got M4.

The ammo destruction of 60 stacks was to punish only those who used the exploit and basically every 60 stack of ammo was an exploit.

The m4s whether duped or not cannot be specifically identified so if u found an M4 innocently you will not be punished just the same as a guy who duped one.

Unless they just reset everyone at once on the hive. Only items that will likely be patched and removed are the infinite round clips

Recommend in the future u dont carry multiple clips of different sizes....they non stop spam u to reload and will likely get u killed

And that's also the reason players arent much around at the NWA anymore. They have their HCvests and AK101 now, they duped it often enough, no need to go back to NWA to ever loot again, unless you can wipe them completly out.

 

Regular is a mess of cheating and abusing, I don't get why people still play it. We need a characterwipe before persistent storage goes live. Otherwise the cheated mags will persist infinitly, as there is still no word on the progress to solve the duping bugs. 

 

 

(incase you are wondering. We threw the duped-infinite ammo away and replaced it with legit 5.56 ammo taken from our AK 101 mags, so no spreading the disease)

HC has plenty of cheaters and has no power over cheaters....it isn't like joining an FPS only server means suddenly your hacks and exploits are no longer useful.

I did however encounter less hacking and duping on HC servers. Also don't give me the bullshit that "hardcore" isn't really hardcore. It's how the developers labeled "1st person only mode" and I just used the name they gave it.

No longer is it labeled hardcore :)

I have never encountered a hacker or duper on regular or HC but HC does not stop them others have seen them.

Clans play more on regular and they are often the guiltiest of duping so maybe that plays into it.

Just cause your personal exp has been better does not make it a matter of fact. Many people say players are friendlier on HC/reg but in my exp it is the opposite for me

I was legitimately surprised that my character didn't wipe after the first update. I think the map would be far more explored if characters were wiped after every update. Kind of off topic, but still something to think about...

Lets hope all this duping will be fixed in the near future.

A character total wipe will only happen in extreme circumstances, I doubt that duped items will be cause for such a measure.
