Every server resets constantly

I cant join any server without it restarting after 3 minutes thereabouts. It's rather annoying. Does this have something to do with the splint-throw exploit?

Its because the server restart glitch is public knowledge. I.e. Now anyone can crash the server and cause it to restart.

 

I imagine they'll patch this out tonight with todays patch.

I sure hope so. Cheaters suck and this is annoying. I just want to play without having to find a new server every 2 minutes. I repeat... CHEATERS SUCK DONKEY BALLS.

Aside from the splint exploit, most of the servers I've seen recently have a two-hour restart cycle. The admins of those servers naturally want to keep them populated in a game where restarts are the only way to refresh loot spawns, but I'm still highly annoyed at how many good fights or roleplay scenarios have been interrupted by a restart, never to be completed.

I had this happen 3x in a row. Log in - server reboots. Log in - server reboots. Log in - server reboots. It's bad enough I'm hoping they do an emergency patch of some sort.

Yea they better fix that glitch... Some little kids are doing it to my server every time any LIGS member is online. Its gotten to the point where we don't want to play on our own server because lil shits are just out to annoy..

I've never understood the purpose of annoying someone if you can't even (at least eventually) see their reaction and annoyance. It takes a lot of blind faith to troll like that. I know VAC won't ban for this kind of an exploit, but I'm sure if the devs had some kind of tracker to see which players do this sort of thing (if they don't already), they might learn some interesting things. =3
