oanj 28 Posted July 28, 2014 Hey guys whenever I load up the game my mouse jusy doesn't respond so I can't click on change server or anything... I tried just using the arrow keys to select a server and managed it but now in the game as well The mouse isn't working.. I can move around and turn different directions just fine but when I press tab to bring up my backpack my cursor won't move?
ruullor 56 Posted July 28, 2014 mine does this too. It works fine to move my character around but when I hit tab or on the intro screen I have to click the mouse slowly around and the cursor "hops" around the screen. With practice I can use it pretty good but I have never found why I have this problem.

nuggit 246 Posted July 29, 2014 Hi Guys, Have either of you two tried changing your dpi settings? Windows/ Start/ search: dpi - Make text and other items larger and smaller. Choose smaller (100% default) https://www.google.com.au/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=dayz%20sa%20mouse%20problem%20with%20cursor Hope this helps.
LeeVanSpliff 156 Posted July 29, 2014 Friend of mine had a similar problem. The 100% interface thing (seems to solve this for most people) didn't help him - possibly because his game was set to the wrong resolution. He couldn't work the drop down menu to change resolution with keyboard (or .... at least we couldn't figure out how). No idea if your problems are resolution related, but the symptoms appear to be the same. We fixed it by going into Documents\DayZ and opening the DayZ.cfg file. Then we changed the values for resolution width and height to match his windows desktop resolution - along these lines: Resolution_W=1920;Resolution_H=1080; Fixed it for him. Remember to back up your DayZ.cfg if you intend to mess around with it though.
