A good night on Dayz...

Recommended Posts

So I logged on last night north of NWAF. Came down and figured I would check Barracks. Had a couple of buddies respawning and they were just about to finish clearing Chernarus when I found an M249 in the North Barracks with 2 clips.

Being that I already had an M14, I took it upon myself to offer it to my comrades if they could run up there of course. So they started their trek while I hid out of sight.

While sitting there, this survivor/bandit walked within 5 feet right past me toward North Barracks. I made the mistake of not pulling out my M14 and capping him. Instead I shot at him with my pistol and this son of a gun was a lucky SOB cause all the rounds fired from my 1911 bounced off the L85 he had stowed on his back.

I had to run as I had a horde of zombies try to ambush me from that encounter. After losing the zombies I went back to the location and the player was still dealing with Zombies as I could hear from the crack of his M1911. I waited patiently this time on the small hill above for him to stop and show himself out of one of the windows...

My patience payed off, as he was finally finished with the zombies, he showed his little face out of the window and looked out. I fired 2 M14 rounds at that spot and then had to run again. I came back around to claim my prize. Below is what I found of value:

-Coyote Backpack

-NVGs

-L85 AWS

-M249 (he picked it up in the barracks)

-Map

-Entrenching tool

-Antibiotics

-Stanag mags (SD and Reg)

-M1911 and mags

Great success...
