I hear that part of this whole re spawning, persistent loot and possible global loot is to induce more story telling..

 

 

If people ripped  a page out of a book and kept it in their shirt, then recorded what happened after encounters, then maybe those sheets of paper would be passed around after being looted off dead bodies?

I like this idea, especially because it requires no updates, all of the resources are already there, its just nobody thought of it yet! great idea, im going to start doing this from now on

I use that method since fixing of writing.

I like this idea, especially because it requires no updates, all of the resources are already there, its just nobody thought of it yet! great idea, im going to start doing this from now on

It comes up about every week here on the forums. The question will be how does it get handled between servers if it is persistent. It seems resources are very tight in this game, and wasting bandwidth on something that has minimal impact on the game might not be practical. If they ever figure out how to manage the bandwidth better, then it will be a worthwhile endeavor.

Tight resources? C'mon, if the game can't handle a diary or a piece of paper, then we have serious problems.

It is a cool idea but the notes would probably get ruined in a gun fight :(
