Lucky Hatchet Kill

I really wanted to share this hilarious story with you all (and might even meet the person I unfortunately killed).

Yesterday I was killed by another player up at the Airfield and had to start fresh. I found a hatchet and decided it was time to test my luck out in Chruno.

While I was looting I began to hear shooting that sounded like a suppressed weapon and darted into the nearest building I could find. I hung out at the door way, hatchet in hand and waited.

Every time I the player fired his weapon it was followed by "player has been killed" so I knew if he seen me I was toast.

After a few minutes I decided i'd take a look outside to see if I can locate the player to evade him. Sure enough out of the corner of my eye I saw a player in a Ghillie that was sitting along a fence facing the opposite direction.

I then realized "I could kill this guy if I tried.. I have nothing else to lose" . I ran outside and started to charge at him, Hatchet in hand. I noticed he wasn't aware that I was on my way to make his end.

I came up behind him and with two hits in the back of the head, he was down and I was able to loot his body.

The spoils:

M4A1 Camo SD x 5 Clips

M9 SD x 6 Clips

Every Tool (GPS, Map, Watch, Compass, Entrenching Tool, Toolbox, Hunting Knife, Matches, Binoculars etc)

Coyote Backpack (x24 slot)

Car parts (I threw away.. obviously)

Beans and Water (x3 x3)

I was a happy guy. It was probably my first actual kill on an experienced player.

I still have those guns and supplies today and I've been through Churno and the Airfield.

Cons: I am way to attached to my gear to the point I would do anything not to lose it.. which has caused me to do some really terrible things that I deeply regret.

Sorry i had to axe you in the head but you had your guard down and you were killing on sight. Your gear has gone to good use.

I figured if he was gather car supplies and part of a clan they'd read the forums often. I'd love to know how he reacted when he learned he died from a hatchet.

wow congrats man! i acually just saw a video of yours after seeing this... [Airfield and Deer Stand Looting] and i just thought to my self like what the hell i heard this story before... then i checked the user name haha! Loved the video btw subscribed and liked !
