RedSage 9 Posted July 18, 2014 I was in a situation a couple of years ago in the freezing cold with 8 plus feet wearing snow shoes and I had to use real survival skills. So playing DayZ I had the idea to use it as a medium to teach some of the survival skills I know and used. This is really my first time trying to teach this kind of stuff so any feedback would be awesome. If there is anything all of you want to learn if I know how to do it I will teach it as best as I can. Yeah, the problem with DayZ at the moment is that it is probably not realistic enough and you would be missing out on a lot of steps to demonstrate. At this point surviving in your own backyard would probably be more realistic than DayZ is. Especially the part where you are not supposed to drink the water ...
