pcyco77rambo 0 Posted July 14, 2014 (edited) So, I've been having an issuse when I try to join a specific dayz epoch server, during the wait for host screen, it says "Registration failed: Couldn't resolve host name (Could not resolve host: register; host not found)" then it says the usual stuff when I join the server, then it says "connection lost". I am using dayz commander. I have searched all over the forums and have not found anything that could help me. I am the only one on the server that is having this issue. I have tried manually installing the updates and having an admin restart the server. does anyone have any ideas that could help me? Just go into your C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead (or your equivalent of it), then delete EVERYTHING in the arma 2 oa folder, or just delete the folder itself, then re-install it, dayz, and epoch. this is what worked for me. AmberHelios 2071 Posted July 18, 2014 (edited) This is caused by out of date versions See here on how to get up to date versions DayZ Commander has not updated to steamworks integration yet, no comments from dotjosh other then he was working on it, A simple launcher and downloader can be found here, http://dayzlauncher.com/ This is made by Maca134 and is still in early development for the steam changes for the game.
