loot respawn?

Did a search but didn't get a result. Does loot respawn, and if so how often? Or do you have to swap servers?

No it never respawns. If everything is looted, dayz stops working.

Nah just kidding, the loot respawns when the server is restarted. And the dev team is working on a loot respawn fuction with a timer + check if anyone is near.
So for example, the servers that have [2H restarts] in the name, are basically saying that they have new loot every two hours.
