UltimateGentleman 355 Posted July 12, 2014 (edited) So I updated my GeoForce driver and decided to click the optimize button for DayZ which put basically everything to low quality, which was fine really since the game ran incredibly smooth. But then something happened in the game and it went to the default settings, I think. Now the best I can get is: Note the left side being pushed out the screen and it being zoomed in a weird way, FOV setting doesn't put it back the way it was. Before automatically it was the right ratio to fit my screen and now after trying every option in the game it won't go back it's either too small or far far too big. Should I just hit optimize again? Nvidia seems to know how big my screen is but DayZ doesn't, for whatever reason. Forgot the error message that came up guess I'll optimize it and see if it happens again. EDIT didn't fix it at all. Other fun combo's include: No matter what combo of user interface and resolution I do it never fits the screen and I've tried all of them that second one is probably the best but the writing is so damn small. Atom Quark 437 Posted July 12, 2014 Make sure your aspect ratio is not on 4.3 but 16.9 or 16.
htd635 0 Posted July 14, 2014 I don't know man. I'm having the same problem. I was playing DayZ yesterday and it crashed then after booting it back up the screen seemed "stretched out". I've also tried change all in game settings INCLUDING resolution and it seems to be unfixable, at least by me someone please help.
