Trouble in DayZ

I was in an apartment building on the roof and I joined a server with my buddy and when I joined him I was stuck inside the apartment I could see the apartment but I couldn't get out what do I do?

Were you able to get out? Sometimes when you load into the games the surroundings don't fully render.

Find a way to kill yourself and next time don't log out inside buildings.

No I ended up having to starve myself unfortunately I lost all my gear.

Two of my first three hours with this game were spent stuck in a basement. luckily I hadn't had anything to eat or drink so I starved. That said, I had to come here to find out that that was my only option.

 

I now always log-off outside and have not had a repeat.
