Resolution Issues (URGENT)

Recommended Posts

Had the same thing today, the fix is easy.

Go to options- video- user interface and put there the correct resolution, the screen will refresh, simply go back to the start menu, back to options- video- render resolution, you will now have your screen resolution in its options.

Currently there is a bug if you change the settings from low to either other or click the default button, the resolution gets f*cked up. Only the UI settings will have the correct resolution in the options.

I recently started up DayZ and was going to adjust my video settings, I clicked the overall quality of whatever is above resolution to custom (was already set at custom) and literally my screen just shrunk I can't read any of the settings, my mouse cursor is gigantic and it doesn't actually show where it is unless I click it.

It's starting to really annoy me because I press default and it still doesn't fix anything, how do I manually override these settings and revert it back to the way it was before?

Hello.
I have the same problem!

My game crashed (it usually never does). When I restarted the game my screen was "streched" strangly, so I tried to change it back. I wanted to set it to "normal" quality and now I`m having the same problem as the OP.

The highest possible resolution for me is now "640x400". No higher options available. :/

I deleted the game via Steam and deleted all other DayZ files manually.

After reinstalling I still have the same problem.

If anybody knows what to do, I would appreciate it.

EDIT:

Found the solution here: >klick<

Should read ALL threads before posting, but at least I didn`t make a new one. ;)

Hello and a big thanks to Mark Darkers!

Had the same issue. Still have to configure it to make it look perfect, but at least I can see what I am doing.

I did what Mark Darkers said to do, and i'm still having this issue. The resolution is fine, but the cursor isn't moving. Moving the mouse does nothing, but once you click, you see where it's moved to.
