nl 986 Posted July 9, 2014 (edited) I am sure that this has been mentioned somewhere before but I couldn't find a topic. Many of you may already know this but some probably don't. You find The Big Dipper which will be usually low on the horizon and draw an imaginary line to the first bright star which will be Polaris aka the North Star so you can also determine W,E and S. You may have to get up on higher ground to find The Big Dipper and obviously it will only work with no or few clouds. Just handy to know if you don't have a compass. I heard something about this when they first started development of SA. I wasn't aware that it was actually implemented. Thank you! Take my beans! :D
