I'm talking about the bugs that have carried over from the mod to SA. Zombies walking through walls, falling from ladders as soon as you get to the top, etc. not to mention that they released information that they were developing SA almost 2 years ago.

I have been playing SA from release and I have yet to fall to my death from any height. I've climbed smoke stacks, stairs, and virtually every ladder on the side of most buildings. Not a single fall.

That is seriosuly an achievement - falling from heights randomly is my go to death type - I'm used to it now :)

 My last iteration of this bug was the other day......climbed the ladder just fine, crouched and walked over to the far corner of the roof to get a better look of the landscape.....and then I died.

 

I ASSUMED I was sniped, luckily I spawned quite close to where I had died and made a run for it. When I arrived at the ladder, there I was.....dick in the dirt. That was my FIRST desync ladder glitch fail.

At least most of my gear was still in decent shape :|

I'm not trying to make community better,but if he bought the game now,and he knew it was alpha release,he agreed to suffer the consequnces[glitches and stuff],and he should be proud,cause when this game is done,ma dawg it ain't gonna be cheap as now,not even close to 25 bux trust me ;)

HAHAHAHA. I love this game. I've been playing since the mod came out, I have no clue what you are talking about, I don't bitch about dying in stupid ways. What I said was meant sarcastically and so that people understand you will die because of stupid things. Never once have I complained about this game. Sure, it has its problems, oh it has its problems alright but I love this game. If you want to see what people ranting about the game go to the graveyard. Please do that so you'll see what real complaining looks like. Until the day that I say "This game is shit" or something similar you have no right to tell me its in alpha and there are bugs to be expected, I was aware of this, I read the message when the game start I CLICKED THE I UNDERSTAND BUTTON. 

Thanks for being that person who starts un-needed drama on a forums post that was meant somewhat sarcastically. 

 

EDIT: If my comments give you cancer then maybe you shouldn't read them, just as someone who doesn't like the game shouldn't play it. ;)

Deaths like that happen and it sucks. As far as bugs carried from the mod! Yeah this is the alpha mod guys not eery total conversion can be counter strike. But it's getting there it's already leaps and bound better than the day one stories I read. Sure it's not what it could be but I like it! My first death in SA was when I attracted one zombie, tried to run away, attracted 2 more and the next thing you know you are trying to kill a group of ten zombie with your bare hands because you are a newspawn that doesn't know how to play DayZ yet. Sorry if that was rude, but that was me 3 days ago and now i have only died twice since. In my current life i have a full military outfit and weapons, I have a full medkit with a blood bag filled with my own blood and a saline bag next to it and am fully armed. Sure I could get killed any moment but also can everyone else.

 

I'm sorry if I sounded kinda rude, but what i am trying to say is that it really doesn't take long to get better at DayZ.  :)

 

Avoid guard posts (and RIFY I hear) till the game is in it's final stage (not BETA/ ALPHA) and make bandages out of your shirt.

Sprint (double tap W) out of town if you do not have a melee weapon and there is a zombie nearby get to a two story building or zig zag up a steep hill and sprint down. Hiding in the bushes will sometimes work (practice make perfect. If you do have a melee weapon and you hear a zombie: Start looking around, Immediately equip it (weapon), raise it, and face the oncoming zombie, as soon as it is close sidestep to the side and hit it, run in circles around the zed whilst attacking it till it drops dead. Get an axe (2 shot kill) or an fire axe ( 1 shot kill)

 

Try to make friends in DayZ and add them to your friends list on Steam. It is especially useful to have friends to call on when you break your leg whilst falling out of one of those towers (which happened to me in my current life). If you have an axe and some bandages you can make yourself a splint by crawling (I heard there was a glitch that allowed you to dive roll out of prone) to a tree, going into crouch and selecting the option to chop it down. after it has been chopped down check you vicinity, which is the same button as your inventory, and pick up the wood. Split the wood into sticks and combine the sticks with your bandages and now you have a splint. Use the splint. Morphine also helps.

The other day I was running along in the shipwreck, saw that I was near the edge so decided to release 'W' in good time. My character was like "Imma gonna carry on running" right off the edge. BAM "You are Dead".
