lauda 44 Posted July 6, 2014 Like others have said putting your OS on the SSD and then sym linking the games that you do want on the SSD from your Steam library is the way to go. It's very easy to do via cmd, it shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/262456-32-guide-transfer-steam-games Symlinks aren´t necessary anymore. You can now simply set up an additional "Library Folder" (or whatever it is called in english). You can find it under Steam/Settings/Downloads. When you have set up more than one folder Steam will ask you which one to use when installing a game.

Esccapee 45 Posted July 6, 2014 Lol. DDR3 will be outdated long before games will require over 8GB of RAM. And to the guy who said his browser uses 4GB... Wtf... How many plugins do you have running man.
Mark Darkers 151 Posted July 6, 2014 So when i install dayz from steam, i usually just let it go to the default folder, so once I re-install on this setup, I can choose where i want to install dayz to?yea, just make sure that trough steam's settings, you setup a second game folder which is located on your ssd, the next time you install a game you can choose between the default and the custom folder.
